Due to the growing concerns regarding environmental and economic issues in power systems, nowadays application of renewable energy sources (RES), especially wind has been increased. However, increasing penetration plants (WPPs) into grid raised numerous challenges including output fluctuations as well significant role these play low-voltage ride-through (LVRT) case short circuit fault conditions. Energy storage systems (ESSs) are commonly employed enhance WPP smoothing. On other side, flexible AC transmission (FACTS) can be utilized dynamic transients WPPs under contingencies. This paper presents utilization unified inter-phase controller (UIPC) super-capacitor fulfill aforementioned connection grid. To achieve this, a novel control scheme is proposed compensate for variations. The model studied here doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) type turbine.
